Each unit contains 20 detailed lesson plans for spending an entire day investigating a single science topic. Each lesson plan integrates all preschool subjects including language, literacy, mathematics, fine arts, problem solving, and creative play into the day’s investigation.
The modules, and the units within modules are designed to be coherent. This means that the concepts and skills introduced in each day’s investigation build on what was learned the day before and provide a foundation for the next day’s investigation.
